Difference between Salwar and Chudidhar

    Chudidhar suits  are one of the famous pair among the Indian ethnic wear. It is a common tendency of human being to look for a comfortable pair of clothing  and chudidhar suite is one of them.The well design chudidhar suites gives you right fitting. But it is the expectation of people to look for such clothing style which offer them the best fitting are standing their clothing length should be  right while they are standing.It is one the important thing to look upon that although time is moving very fast and along with it fashion is style also change dramatically. But there is some very specific clothing, which is not changing with time and people are accepting it completely and with happy hands.

Salwar and Chudidhar are commonly used dresses that are worn by the women in India. Chudidhar is a modern design and it can be said that Salwar paved the way for it.Though the Salwar and Chudidhar are similar, the curves and the cuts in the fabric differ. Chudidhar is more closely fitted at  the hips, thighs and ankles.

Chudidhar is shortly called as "Chudi" which is fitted tightly from the knee down and looser from the knee up. But Salwars are considered to be loose pajama like dress.

The upper portion of salwar is wide spread unlike with the chudidhar , and als unlike the salwar, the  chudidhar has a shape that recembles the leg.

  1.  Avoid buying a salwar that is too tight as it will amplify your curves.
  2. If you are slim and slender, you can opt for salwar in pastel shades.
  3. If you are tall or want to look taler, go for long salwar 
  4. Choose your salwar with the right cut and it will rightly compliment your figure.
  5. In summers avoid going for heavily embellished or embroidered salwar as it would get really difficult to carry your outfit all the day.
  6. Women with heavier arms opt for full sleeves as it helps cover the flab
  7. Do not step out with out a stylish accessory.
  8. A pair of heels would go well with your traditional attire.

  2. If it seems to be difficult to hold lots of pleats, go for semi patiala which has little pleats
  3. Opt for cotton patiala in summer season for extra comforts.
  4. Always wear patiala with knee- length or short kurthi to highlight the pleats.
  5. 3/4 sleeves kurthis looks good on patiala.
  6. Patiala conceal large hips and thigs, adding proportion to the body.
